The secret of our success
GIS Europe was created in 1997 as Europe’s pioneering European procurement service provider, concentrating on the efficiency of the flow of goods and services (flowgistics) as seen from our clients’ procurement point of view. We realised that the success of our approach relied on streamlining the complete procurement process, including optimised stockroom management, accounts payable, kitting and shipping.
Through strategic sourcing policies and systematic build-up of the supply database, the “First pass total cost of ownership” was kept down and as a result created new unexplored benefits.
Consolidation and standardisation, especially in non-strategic procurement (either BOM or non-BOM) is key to our programme and we’re committed to further developing and improving this area in close partnership with existing and new clients.
